Community Education

We provide the tools you need to be on top of your financial problems.

Financial literacy workshops designed to help you understand how to manage your money.

We provide all the equipment necessary for financial literacy workshops, including:

  • digital and print literature
  • multimedia presentations

 

What does Community Ed do?

  • Money Mentors holds workshops on money management, negotiating with creditors/utilities, avoiding financial issues and money mindset.
  • We talk to other service providers to share what we do and how we can help their clients.
  • Have stalls at events to share what financial counsellors can do.
  • Creates tailored education for marginalised groups.
  • Provides digital and print literature around financial literacy and wellbeing.

Community Education

At Money Mentors we are passionate about financial education and our team loves coming out to talk to the community.

We provide a variety of educational programs to suit your needs. All of our educational programs are free.

Examples of what our programs include:
  • Fun, games-based approaches, for Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) groups.
  • Talks and workshops at schools, to groups large and small.
  • Presentation to women's hostels around financial empowerment.
We're certified teachers of:
  • Money Minded
  • Me Myself and Money
  • Economic Empowerment Project

FREE OUTREACH for ALL

We currently offer Outreach appointments in Kwinana (weekly) and Waroona (monthly).

Appointments are available via phone for clients who can’t get to our Mandurah or Byford offices.
Outreach appointments to a person’s home can be arranged for special circumstances.
